About Me

Hello! My name is Mr. Miletich and I am an Earth Science teacher at Franklin Academy High School in Malone, New York.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up in Malone and graduated from FA. I attended SUNY Plattsburgh for my Bachelor's degree and SUNY Cortland for my Master's degree in Earth Science Education.  I started teaching Earth Science in the Finger Lakes region of NYS and also taught in the Albany area for seven years.  The 2014-15 school year will by my eleventh year teaching in the Malone school district.

I am married and have four children (three boys and a girl) between the ages of 6 and 12.  The kids are busy in sports such as baseball, hockey, soccer, and dance.  My hobbies include fly fishing, gardening, skiing and playing hockey.

I anticipate that we will make great strides this year! The instruction that I provide is developmentally appropriate, NYS Core Curriculum aligned, challenging, and fun!  My goal is to always foster a love of science among my students!
Parents and caregivers, please feel free to contact me regarding your child’s progress at any time. I will do my best to update this website often with the latest assignments and information.
